Hello loves! This past weekend, Michael and I went to a UNCG Threads Fashion Show. We were honored to photograph shots of this awesome collection called TOXIC LOVE. One thing I've learned is to always look up to others, whether it's for inspiration or to learn from them. This collection was created by my dear friend, Huntley Erwin. She worked long and hard to present her first collection. Honestly, I am obsessed! I loved the 60s and 70s vibe with a modern twist. I even wore hot pink to support the theme! I am excited for you guys to see it! I also asked Huntley to give me a quick bio about her collection and inspirations. I hope you guys love it as much as I do!

Toxic Love was created for spring/summer 2016. The inspiration came from the historical influences of the 60s-70s. During this time period love and drugs were heavily embraced. Some needed the drugs in order to feel the love and some just needed drugs to haze reality. Like the song Toxic by Brittany Spears " I'm addicted to you, don't you know that you're toxic? Is basically saying that it isn't true love but someone or something you're addicted to. Having this experience in past relationships and realizing that it wasn't love but actually just an addiction to the thought of having love. Or Maybe just to escape reality to make love exist. Whats your addiction?
